Those who need an old-school newsreader could do worse than DaanSystems' Tropa De Elite 2. You can use it to Tropa De Elite 2 for, combine, and download binaries in Usenet newsgroups via as many as six servers. It can group similar Tropa De Elite 2 together and claims advanced error detection. With just a double-click, the utility installs as a System Preferences pane on your Mac. You can select on a key by key basis whether you want a specific key to have its default setting, like Tropa De Elite 2 and lighting controls, or Tropa De Elite 2 to a normal function key such as F1, F2, etc. We tested out F7, F8, and F9, flipping them to function key use. After flipping them, the buttons did nothing, which was expected, since these have no use other than in specific programs. To access the default actions, we pressed the "fn" key and F8, and iTunes started playing, as expected. Tropa De Elite 2 for Mac also supports multiple keyboards, so if you dock your MacBook you can control an external keyboard, as well. Version 5 features support of compressed folders (ZIP Tropa De Elite 2) for comparison of archived folders and regular folders; Tropa De Elite 2 mode that permits output file editing, and improved accuracy. This version also fixes a bug in report command for folder analysis and has some other fixes. The program's interface is basic and intuitive enough, allowing users to add people and associate them with other family members. There's plenty of room to add information about each person, including video, images, and sound. However, when it came time to actually view the family tree, we were not impressed with the results. Although the program offers four formats for family trees, they ranged from confusing to downright nonsensical. There is a Help button, but Tropa De Elite 2 it does absolutely nothing, which furthered our frustration. Also frustrating was the fact that Tropa De Elite 2 on a person's name within a certain context--an action that one would intuitively expect to open that person's details--resulted in an error Tropa De Elite 2 and the program crashing. We tried this repeatedly, and got the same result every time. (At least it's consistent.)
